Here is the Code to use the Component :

1. Add a Reference to ForceDownload.dll

2. Add “using ESS.APP.WebUtil”

3. Add this snippet to the Event on which you want to Force the Download

ForceDownload fdl = new ForceDownload();
fdl.FilePath = Server.MapPath(Request.ApplicationPath +”\\filename.ext“);
fdl.Download();
